The fishing is awesome. Love the campground. And swimming or just splashing around.

My friends and I found this off the beaten path camp spot after a long day of riding motorcycles across Montana. The other side of this small lake has an actual campground with tables and fire pits but we opted for this little cutout for the primitive set up. This lake at sunset will really remind you of why they call Montana the 'Big Sky' state. The water was chilly and refreshing after getting out of our riding gear and we spoke with some other campers and they said the fishing was great. We were able to explore the area and find firewood to last us the night but beware this is not a heavily wooded area so might be safer to bring some if you plan to stay awhile. Very quiet and peaceful.
